We will be serving a traditional Christmas Dinner and providing gifts to those we serve during street outreach Saturday evening Dec 22 and the homeless that attend our Bible Study Wed Dec. 26 and. We need donations to help with the food and gifts for those two dinners. That is over 100 meals and gifts needed. TDWM is excited to that DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative has returned to Indianapolis for 2013. DEVULI selects 60 participants from 5 different US cities each class and provides those selected with what we believe to be some of the best leadership training available. With instructors and mentors from DeVos, World Vision, Christian Community Development Association and more. We were blessed to get to be a part of the Initiatives return to our city. Brian Walls DEVULI class of 2007 was asked to be part of the selection committee for the participants. There were over 40 people nominated and over 30 of those nominees that completed the application process. One of those applicants who was selected for the training was our own Nelson Moralez. Nelson is already being used by God to make a difference in his community. We are proud of his reliance on Christ and his efforts to get off the streets and be a leader in his community. We are so glad to have him as part of our team and cant wait to see what God uses him for in the future. Thank you DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative for what you are doing for our city, our organization, our Riverside neighborhood and our friend Nelson. Holidays! Each year the Cathedral and the Coalition for Homeless Intervention and Prevention (CHIP) have a service to remember our friends who passed this year while living on the streets. DeVos Urban Leadership!

TDWM  is excited to that DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative has = returned to Indianapolis for 2013.
